I have lamented here before about how there is so much material on the internet that we have to sift through to find the really good stuff. Well, this site does a pretty good job. It is aptly named “Great Websites for Kids” and is sponsored by the Association For Library Service To Children, a division of the American Library Association. They add sites three times a year as well as reviews sites to ensure they are still working. That’s a lot of footwork already done for the busy educator. It is a great boon for classroom teachers and can perhaps be especially useful to those who are home schooled.
I just found it tonight so expect more posts soon about individual sites. For now, I leave it up to you to explore.
Good collection of children sites. Shared.
