This article from The Guardian gives a brief description of some board games that encourage positive characteristics in their players. Far from the family-dividing avarice of Monopoly, games like Dixit Journey and Pandemic encourage creativity and teamwork.
“But what you don’t tell your social circle as you coax them around a table and start explaining rules is that tabletop games can also teach history, foster creativity, stimulate dormant mathematical talent and encourage teamwork.”
Very apt!
And who doesn’t like games? (Awesome name, BTW.)
